Coffee is an excellent source of fluid and it's a myth that coffee can dehydrate you. In fact the water that coffee provides can help to maintain your body’s fluid balance. Each cup of coffee contributes to your daily fluid requirement.
It's also important to remember that without sugar and milk there are hardly any calories in coffee, just like water and tea. That is why coffee fits in perfectly with a well balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
So if you're finding it difficult to drink your daily litre-and-a-half of fluid, add in your daily cups of coffee. It will make a difference!
