When it is time for a coffee, or if someone would like a coffee immediately, the group listed in the Coffee Manager program receives a small pop up question on their computer asking them if they would like a drink too.
Here you can indicate what you would like to drink. Next, the Coffee Manager will collect all the submitted requests. If the person who initiated the coffee break is not going to collect the coffee for everyone, then the Coffee Manager will select one person out of the group (who requested coffee) to collect and bring the coffee to the other colleagues.
For the person who needs to collect the coffee, the Coffee Manager will display a list of names and coffee requests. To make this easier you can print this list on to A4 paper and the names and requests of your colleagues will be stated on this print out which you can place on to a tray. The Coffee Manager is meant to function within your computer network making coffee groups. Therefore you are able to make coffee groups with your colleagues; for example you can create a coffee group made up of your department or floor.
The Coffee Manager is more efficient if you limit the number of people within the coffee group to a maximum of 12. Otherwise getting coffee will turn into quite a chore.
The person who starts with the installation of the Coffee Manager is the ‘administrator’. S/he determines the name of the coffee group, the standard coffee times and the available drink selection. Other colleagues can add themselves to the group and can participate immediately.
Anyone who would like a coffee even if it is not within the standard coffee times can click on the DE logo and start an extra coffee round. The administrator can decide to collect the coffee or let the Coffee Manager decide whose turn it is to do so.
It is possible to see the quantity and frequency of your colleagues drinking habits by printing out the graph made available by the Coffee Manager. Perfect to hang up in your coffee corner!
